Can anybody advise me on good pubs in New Jersey and New York to watch the EPL, I'm off there mid March and would like to sample a good US pub and see what the banters like!, I don't know what part of New Jersey I'm staying in but I'll be on Wall Street in New York. In fact a bit of advice on any good places to go out would be good!!
old new york Nevada Smiths (http://www.nevadasmiths.net) is the most famous place to watch, although there are hundreds of Irish bars in the five bros that get the matches on satellite. Nevada Smiths is also on your side of town, if you're staying near Wall Street. Quick subway ride. If you want to learn what's going on about town, pick up TIME OUT NEW YORK on the newsstand. Your best guide to the city.

Nevada Smith's is as close to a Yank Gooners Central as you'll find in the NY-metro area. From just about anywhere in NJ you can take a bus or train into the city. Perhaps we'll see you then!
