How do Chelsea rebuild for next season's WSL?

Looks at the season Sonia Bompastor had and whether her job is in jeopardy--Probably not given that she wasn't given as much support and how well she did in her first season.

    Article didn't say much, disappointingly.

What Chelsea need is a more dynamic midfielder to dictate play, and a right winger. This year, though, they were really hurt by the loss of Ramirez in the first week or two of the season.

Yeah, I was hoping for some news, but nobody pays much attention to this thread anyway.

I think the Chelsea problem is above the manager who has made mistakes and the players too.
They removed the DOF Paul Green and brought people from the men side into the women section and there are worries among the Chelsea fans that they will implement the same failing business model they use on the men side.

It's what happens when a club brings in business people to run a football club rather than football people to run a football club. IMO, they didn't need to bring in A Thompson as they already had Baltimore. Turned out to be an improvement, but they should have brought in a right winger instead.

And the season is now finished.

Champions Manchester City 55 pts breaking the 6 seasons streak from Chelsea
    Runner-up Arsenal 51 pts
    Third place Chelsea 49 pts

City and Arsenal qualify for the Champions League League phase, Chelsea for the qualifying round 3.

    At the bottom

    12. Leicester 9 pts ( 0 point since Christmas) will play play-off against Charlton as no relegation this season with the WSL extending to 14 teams and two teams promoted from WSL 2.

Yeah champions league round 1 for them.
They need to sign a lot of players to be able to compete and qualify for round 2. Might make the UWEC.

I certainly enjoy all the documentaries on football. Welcome to Wrexham is fun although it lacks technical knowledge and explanations... the one on Sunderland documenting thier failures and how it affected jobs at the club at every levle is also an eye opener.
