Fair point but the goal resulted from poor positioning by an older, not very swift centerback who hadn't played a match in about 2 months. Miedema is the least of Arsenal's worries. I think Eidevall is in over his head. Arsenal needed to press more effectively than they did and play more direct itself. A lot of things have been going wrong for this team--and tough away matches coming up against Chelsea, ManCity and ManU--all away, I think.
There are many things going wrong right now. You could do a full page list really. 4 defeats in the last 5 games is a crisis.

This is still pretty much the same squad, same manager, same tactics that was undefeated not so long ago so what went awry? With their current form I'm afraid Chelsea, Mancity, and Wolfsburg will easily beat them for sure.
Team psyche can be very fragile and so can performance be affected by the most minor appearing things. There have been cases where a truly innocent comment by a coach or player just prior to a game or even in practice has completely changed a teams play. Teams can, sometimes very easily, be turned from great to average or the other way around without any apparent cause. There also can be cases where a player has a very minor injury that they actually do not consciously notice it but it effects their play just enough to disrupt the teams play somehow. My point is that it is very easy to disrupt the play of a winning team but it is very hard, quite often, to figure exactly why things have gone bad.

I wish the FA Player (and all streaming for women's football matches) had more comprehensive replays. Near the end of United-Birmingham, Groenen was called for a foul that left a Birmingham player on the ground as they were both presumably challenging for position on an aerial ball. I obviously think Groenen's a terrific player, but she has close to no aerial game. I'm curious to see what exactly she did that left the Birmingham player on the ground like that; she obviously seemed to think there was some playacting involved. Galton's instincts (and goalkeeping issues from Ramsey in my opinion) settled this tie early. Zelem opened the scoring with a very good chip finish, but some of her turnovers, especially one in the second half, continue to be perplexing. Boe Risa maybe needs to do a lot of finishing drills throughout the week.
Currently watching Man City vs Aston Villa. First few minute impressions, they need to bring in more balls! Watching GKs having to chase only 1 ball is embarrassing!
Few more minutes into the match, realize theres only 1 camera the whole time so far...even with replay is the same perspective no other different view.
FA WSL table A little look at the #BarclaysFAWSL table 👀What do you think of your team's position? pic.twitter.com/GeGruQ6Y49— Barclays Women's Super League (@BarclaysWSL) January 16, 2022 Leicester winning means they send Birmingham back in the relegation zone. Both teams sacking their manager resulted in a direct improvement with 2 wins for Leicester and 1 for Birmingham. Man City who were so far behind early in the season are back in business. The last two games they have played with their fourth keeper on the pitch and fifth keeper on the bench and no one threatened them. Poor from opposition teams.

I can't wait to see what progress comes out from the Arsenal's new signings. I still doubt their chances going forward in the UCL but will probably be back on track in the WSL... I'm disappointed with ManUnited's lack of signings for reinforcement though. Such self-confidence but with City getting their injured players back, 4th place will be the highest they can achieve which means missing CL qualification again.
