    Mathis to dmid?!?

    Smurfs #2 in the West?

Still, I guess it was entertaining.

Anyone else much more interested in seeing Buddle, Martino, and Convey play than seeing Hejduk, Kirovski, and Keller?

I get chills when I think of LanDo and Adu thrown in there alon with a healthy Mathis. That's just seems like too much creativity. Anyone else want the future now?

    Dallas # 4 ????

San Jose has gotten worse since last year when they got pounded by the Village Crew.

I have no idea where all the high expectations for KC have come from - sure they added Wolff - but he's just one guy who hasn't played a full MLS season since God knows when. As far as I'm concerned, they've just been treading water.

I'd put Colorado ahead of both SJ and KC.

I think the East is just about right - maybe flip-flopping Metros over DC due to Bradley being a better coach. Both teams had massive turnover and added talent - its up to the coaches to put it all together.

I find it VERY interesting that so many are predicting a blowout against Ven... or at least taking them so lightly.

As most of us on this board know, they did extremely well in the later part of qualifying.

And they aren't 150 in the world, more like 68-69-70. Pretty big difference.

    I predict 1-0, 2-0 US.

Quite, they're ranked one spot behind Canada.

Gee, have we played Canada recently?

Even if Venezuela is on the rise, that still puts them in pretty fair to middling company.

as a quakes fan i have to admit i was surprised at the predictions. i can't see the quakes finishing second without a lot of breaks falling their way. i'd love to see it happen, but i'm not so sure.

my darkhorse team to win it all: colorado.
    most likely to win: columbus.
