Was not a pretty goal, but kind of nice to see his score a clumsy poacher's goal now and then too. https://www.reddit.com/r/ussoccer/comments/1rhfmcf/balogoal_in_a_20_monaco_win/

Golovin (not Balogun) scores (@ 55'), to push the lead to 0-2. Edit: Balogun scores (at 73') to restore a two-goal lead, 1-3.
This dude has a thing for PSG. He's always picking on those poor bastards and saves his best for them. He does it a few more times and they might buy him.
Great strike... but I sensed some weird tension in who hugged whom at the sideline... where are my psychologist gonna break that down for us.
Is that 5 goals and an assist in the last 5 games? I guess in the last 6 games - there was another PSG game in there, I think. And 3 G and 1 g of those v PSG? Crazy, right. He's at 13 G 5 A for the season in all comps, but he's got 5 of those goals in the CL play, 7 in league.
Hadn't checked the MikeyD table in a minute and Balo's shooting has helped fire Monaco back into contention for a slot someplace in Europe. They grabbed 13 pts in the last 5 games. Ligue 1 has 3 yanks battling for possible Euro action (currently OM is 3rd, OL 4th and Monaco 5th tho OL has yet to play game 25. Ditto LOSC who could jump Monaco with a win or tie.) Meanwhile in serie A we have ACM safely in 2nd for this week at least, Juve safely in 6th and Atalanta in 7th, but 5 pts back of Como or Roma, and 4 pts behind Juve. I guess this is going OT - might need a YA "Big 5" or "Big 6" Europe prospects thread down the home stretch. PSV is in for sure and BL are just hanging on to the last slot, tho they are also only a big 3 point win off 3rd.
