I don't think it's about the number of non-EU players on the roster, it's that they are limited to two non-EU player signings per season, or something like that.
OK, you can do whatever you like, I'm just pointing it out because it does make it less of an issue that he is now a non-EU, player, assuming he doesn't have a Nigerian passport, of course. I'm not sure, but I think Cotonou still qualifies a Nigerian as an EU player, doesn't it? Anyway, if Juve can sign 2 new non-EUs, he may be one of them. I think it would be a good choice, as would some of the Bundesliga teams.
My point is that getting a non-EU player into Serie A is never as easy as everyone likes to assume. Since he's only recently become a non-EU player, I wanted to make sure people brought that into the equation. I don't think Italy allows Cotonou migrants.

Add two more teams to the Folarin Balogun sweepstakes. AC Milan and also Bayer Leverkusen are reportedly after his signature this summer. #USMNT— Larry Henry Jr (@lhenry019) February 18, 2021
Seems he's been out injured: Unfortunately, American-Anglo-Nigerian striker Folarin Balogun has failed a fitness test and the game vs Liverpool has come too soon for him. https://t.co/N3ylIjniLO— AllNigeriaSoccer (@Editor_ANS) February 27, 2021
1366057329091837956 is not a valid tweet id Probably doesn’t mean anything, but still found it interesting
Looks like he at least deleted all his tweets or something. I’m gonna need a GenZ to translate for me. Maybe he had a reference to Arsenal in his signature that he got rid of. Arsenal is freezing him out because he won’t sign a contract. Seems like a simple reality of the EPL and a clear business decision for all parties. Go to the continent and get paid young fella!
I know that Sven Mislintat (ex-Arsenal chief scout) was hired as Manager by VfB Stuttgart, and he wants Balogun to go there. Unfortunately for Stuttgart, every other good team appears to want him, too, so that will probably price Stuttgart out of the market.
hopefully he has a great agent. 90% of the pay for more minutes out of the gate is a tradeoff that sounds awfully smart for a young unproven player with huge unrealized upside with no first division experience.
Hello, Gen Z here. A handshake emoji is usually indicative of an agreement, or a congratulatory expression on making a decision. As in “hey man, congrats on your choices. Hope we get to see each other on the field soon.” also known as “Dabbing him up”.
