The FMF Draft is on Tues. 6/29 and about 70% of the players are free agents, so I've read on many Mexican soccer news sites. Maybe a few above average players will fall through the cracks ala Colorados DeLatorre and land in cities with large Mexican populations (LA, Dallas, San Jose, and Colorado) on the cheap. I am not one to usually ask for a Mexican player since historically they have underachived in MLS (except Misael Espinoza), but this seems to be a chance to bring in some players who are better than our average players and bring back not only Mexican fans, but all Latino fans in general who bailed on MLS. We need that Latino attacking flair back in MLS, many teams are playing a boring unskilled style of soccer right now. I would say San Jose, LA, and Chicago are the only teams playing an attractive style comparable to Latin American soccer. If MLS was smart they would attend the draft and maybe find a diamond in the rough(Mexican or South American). I would like to see who else feels my observations are correct.
