If Spurrier was still there their's no way they would have lost to Miami that badly. They DO have good talent despite what media idiots were saying. Most of the talent and recruits stayed after Spurrier left. Then they only score 34 points against a team that got shut out by a !-AA team. They should have hung 60 on them not struggle to get 34 points. So this week they are playing at Tennessee. There is no way they will win this game with this dope of a coach they have. Spurrier had a great record against Tennessee. Before the season I said the Gators would go 7-5. They lose to Tennesse thats 2 losses so far. I think they'll also lose to LSU,Georgia, and Florida State. If I'm wrong I'm wrong but with a guy like Ron Zook at the helm why would anyone expect anything great. Coaching is more important than talent in college football just look at Notre Dame right now.

Never mind Tennessee. Florida's living on borrowed time. The overrated 'Canes, who crushed Florida, are struggling against BC.

    talk about one day later!

My judgementi is still reserved on Zook but I'd take him any day befor FatbastardFulmer.

What a pathetic Vol performance. Do they not know how to play in the rain?

They usually don't know how to win big games against good teams witout help. Their NC year was a gift from Clint Stoerner's (ARK) fumble, Collins Cooper's (UF) missed field goal and Chris Weinke's (Free Shoes University) injury, allowing them to play the NC game against an untested QB. Their two SEC titles came from playing Mississippi State and Auburn (Karsten Bailey dropped several balls that game, including two in the end zone). Last year, they even put the best playing (at the time)QB in the SEC (Rohan Davey) out of the game and still lost to the backup.

Heart problem. Their only great performance recently was against the Gators last year in Gainesville. They finally played up to the level of their talent.

Florida has NOWHERE NEAR the talent that Miami does. Spurrier's last few recruiting classes have been awful, and defections to the NFL has left the Gators with a number of holes that a team like Miami is going to exploit.
    Two points about this.

    1. I was at the game, and a great deal of it was playing in a ***************ing downpour.

    2. The coaching staff all along has said that the offense was a work in progress. IMO, it was better against Miami than it was against UAB, and it was better against Tennessee than it was against Miami.

People keep wanting to say that UF won because of Tennessee's ineptitude, but for some reason, people forget that the Gators had three long touchdown drives in that game, and had Grossman not thrown two picks in the end zone, the Vols would REALLY have been blown out.
I happen to think Florida State is vastly overrated, but we'll see. There's a decent chance UF could lose there, simply because we don't seem to play well in Tallahassee.

I'd honestly be really, really surprised if the Gators lost at home to LSU (who UF has beaten by a combined score of 85-23 over the last two years) or to Georgia at the Cocktail Party. We own the Poodles, and it's not gonna change this year. I honestly believe Florida's going to be 10-1 heading into the game against the Semenholes.

they havn't lost since early 2000. they have won, what - 27 games in a row? they crush top ten ranked teams. You spoke a little to soon in the BC reset too, didn't you? Wasn't the final score 37-3 or something silly like that?

Miami Hurricanes = better than the Detroit Lions (and cincinatti bengals apparently)

Miami Hurricanes = Ken Dorsey, aka Fancy Boy, with a decent O-line, can't take a hit in the pocket with letting his gash leak while whining to officials.

Squeegee to the 35 yard line please

Dorsey is proving to be a little girl.

At least some other (co)Caine QBs take their hits in the pocket like men.

Gee. The Gator contingent has been rather quiet lately. A couple of losses and you run out of steam? I guess we have found out how fair-weather the Gainesville Faithless are.
