In my mind the greatest Flops of this season (ranking) are:

    1. Borussia Dortmund - target: Champion, min. target champonsleague quarterfinal -.
Reached: no championsleague - kicked out in qualifier -, not champion, not qualified for next season championsleague, not qualified for UEFA-Cup and massive financial problems.

    2. Hertha BSC Berlin - target: Champion, min. target champonsleague
Reached: nothing, be glad at last that they not relegated

    3. 1860 Munich - target: international games next season
    Reached: relegated

    4. Bayern Munich - target: Champion, champions league winner and Cerman-Cup winner
Reached: nothing. Ok, they're the second and qualified fo the champions league, but that's is nothing for them and what they want.

    5. Schalke and Wolfsburg - targets: champions league or UEFA Cup.
Reached: Schalke the UI (Bratwurst-Cup) and Wolfsburg is not relegated.

    Tops

    1. Werder Bremen - target: hope with luck to play international
    Reached: Champion

    2. Bochum - target: a rank above the 10th.
Reached: UEFA Cup qualified and the number one in the Ruhrarea

    3. Leverkusen - target: a better season than lest year without relegation fights.
Reached: A champions league qualifyer and the UEFA Cup.

    4. Stuttgart - target: the hope for another good season with international ambitions.
Reached: a super season with a little sad end, UEFA Cup only, but more than the most really thought.

    5. Hansa Rostock - target: so soon as possible be in a not relegation danger zone.
Reached: this early and with a little more believing in their strongness, they were possible to reach the UI cup

yea it's a real shame what happened to Deisler, it also sucks that he won't make it to this year's Eurocup. If he had played in the World Cup and the Euro Cup this year he would have had tremendous experience by next season. Just think of the potential.

No, sorry, that's taken from kicker's last two print editions.

Hannover didn't target international games. They aimed to be two spots better than last season and avoid relegation trouble as early as possible. Some started to change their minds when they had a great start and Simak in top shape, but with Simak's retirement this topic was dead.

    From Flop to Top

In Munich they say Micheal Ballack is a flop, surely for Munich (that will make him top in my mind).
But in the German NT today, my tendence is to say TOP!

You`re all know, the team make it, only the team -:D

He should change the club and go to Barcelona. There he has to show his skills cause of bigger concurrence.

Yeah, Wolfsburg was a flop. But biggest flop has to be Hertha. Top was Bremen, followed by Bochum.

Ailton was tops; he was also a flop for leaving for Shalke. Biggest flop: Kahn, for some spectacularly important miscues.

Schaaf and Neurerer are tops; Stevens and Roeber were flops.

Team Wolfsburgh was tops;) and there were no flops in BigSoccer.Com--The League.

One thing I dont`t understad in Wolfsburg.
When they play for nothing, the golden citron, they were selled out.
OK more than 10.000 Schalker was there, but how and why.

Ailton and Don Jupp??? ok I don`t know.

But for Bochum, it`s cool for the VfL, I always see them loose, this season they
    win, and I like it.
Yes really, they played a huge saeson.
For the money they spend in Dortmund they reached not more with 1/3 and Schalke with 1/2.
And I can say (true) congratulations.

well this does depend also on good defenders.

I would call the defense itself keeper included of VfB Stuttgart as Top. ;)
