You guys tied LA at home and then took 90 minutes to score a goal against a weak Metros team. You've scored 2 goals in 2 games. You're not world beaters yet.

    11. Joselito Vaca will not be referred to as a "playmaker" in this column until further notice. With Oscar Pareja sidelined, leaving that central midfield slot wide open for Vaca, coach Mike Jeffries slid Ronnie O’Brien, a guy who I thought was a prototype flank player, into the center and kept the young Bolivian on the right flank."

Ronnie O was the best player on the field Saturday. I have no idea why he got subbed out, unless his feet were killing him. His play on Saturday was the best thing the Burn can take away from that game.

I have to agree with his take on MLS statistics. The way that assists are handed out is absurd.
I was suprised by his prediction of the Crew-NE game as well. He did say he was at the Crew game last weekend so he's seen them play live one more time than I but I hope we don't give up THREE goals to the Revs.

He probably had to as part of his job. The rest of us were free to change the channel.

I can't believe they gave out assists for the Beasley goal.

Ralston turned it over not once but twice on that play.

    For shame.

He more or less flamed out after halftime.

I was a little surprised to see no mention of the six minute JMM Debut Part II.
