After a tough week for our heroes, they return to their home city, where millions of loyal fans follow their every move. But this episode is a special one. For the first time, our yellow wearing CREW will do battle in their new fortress. Their venerable old home has been turned into their training facility, making sure that all current and future heroes will train on the ground that brought them so much glory! Their chosen opponent for this match is the group of rebels, led by an old rival. Our lovable band of champions once potent attack has been blunted, so while they do not win, they often are skilled enough in defense to hold their rivals to a stalemate! Will this be the case again, or will they break through and open their new home in style?!
Fun fact: The Crew are 23rd in goals scored (9) this season, tied with Cincinnati and Miami. If you take away the contributions of our second-leading goal scorer (own goal), we slip down 26th place for goals scored, tied with Chicago. Have a nice day!
First game at the new home stadium - I can't vote for anything other than win by two. Even if I don't think it's actually going to happen.
I still have an extra Nordecke ticket for this weekend, if anyone’s interested. Face value. PM me for details.
La Turbina getting back into it.
We have a glorious tradition of beating New England two-nil in stadium opening matches, and I vote we continue that tradition.
Is the park mobile app always so glitchy? Website has different listings then the app too. Took half the morning, two credit cards, and two accounts before it would finally take a reservation.
The Nordecke is planning a Saturday party at Whistle & Keg. All Crew fans are invited. All ages. There'll be a tub of beer on their patio (probably cash only) and they have 50 taps of various pour-your-own libations plus hard liquor. Food: They don't do food, but you're welcome to bring your own. 343 N. Front, right at the corner of Nationwide and Front. It starts at 11:30 am and they'll have the Euros on their TVs. Czech Republic vs. Denmark, 12 p.m. (ESPN) Sweden/Ukraine vs. England/Germany, 3 p.m. (ABC) I've also heard they'll be going strong there on Friday night as well.
Mine went from one event to all events to no events. It went from allowing me to reserve but not accepting my payment (oops, something went wrong). POS system.
If you're having problems with ParkMobile, they're known and the situation is being resolved...stand by.
