He'll be good for border security.
And hopefully he'll broker peace deals between Ukraine and Russia, and in middle-east

I wish. I did take French in college, but that was 100 years ago. Then I decided to try Russian in grad school (as part of an int'l studies MA). All this really meant is that I never got close to fluency in anything. At least I got good enough to brush up before any trips to France in order to ask basic questions and come across as being polite. I think my greatest achievement in French was making a dinner reservation over the phone once.

I do love cooking, and once took a 32 week French cooking class, hence the mise en place reference. I look forward to mastering the mother sauces - and their many offspring - in retirement... someday.

I still don't understand why people think Trump will be good on the economy. He was given a humming economy by Obama and proceeded to ring up more debt than any other president, then handed off a ticking time bomb to Biden.

Otherwise, border security will be his usual shit show and "brokering" a deal between Ukraine and Russia simply involves not providing Ukraine with money for defense in favor of an imperialistic Russia committing cultural genocide.

So, these are pretty terrible reasons.

I agree. But on the other hand, Harris wanted the microphones unmuted, and this sort of accomplished the same result.
