I constantly think how lucky we were when McTominay went down when he did (on top of Pogs being already injured). Probably stands to reason that we wouldn't have moved for him until the following summer if that hadn't happened.
Now they need to stop fekking around and give Bruno the damned captaincy. Stop with the optics. It’s like when we kept getting sold that Gazza was the captain when it was clearly Rio steering.
the more i think about it the more he, in a weird way, brute forces the desired outcome. almost like playing the lotto non-stop until you win. not a fan of the he's had a bad game because he is misplacing passes argument. he's never been efficient with his passes - with us or otherwise. that is just a result of the approach. i think he is important for football in general to show you don't have to be a silky, efficient De Bruyne/Silva type to get it done. there are many paths to the desired result but some are deemed to have higher value than others
This is incredible achievement, if he wasn't a united player the Press would have gone all gaga over him.

Bruno Fernandes: Remarkable rise of Man Utd star - by those who know him best - BBC Sport The signs were there in the 2nd half of last season, and yes he's our penalty taker as well but 22 goals (along with 13 assists) so far in all comps. That's just an incredible return. As frustrating as he can be at times (particularly in big games so far with us), you can't really argue with that kind of production. Lots of games left this season, curious to see what he will end up clocking at and if it will be enough to earn him the PotY award...

I love Keano, but... ...I’ve seen Keano gesticulating at his teammates and being angry to get pulled. A lot of players get mad when they get pulled. First time I have ever heard of that as a disrespect to the guy coming on.

I am really impressed with Bruno's versatility and his football brain. He obviously does a lot of the big stuff well, but he does a lot of the little stuff as well. Many players are the player they are regardless of match-state. You can see Bruno turn the slider down from gung-ho to attacking when we have a 2 goal lead and then down from there as time goes on with the same match state. A lot of players will get forward quicker or sit deeper as game state requires but Bruno also changes his risk-taking in terms of passing and movement. An example of someone I love who couldn't do that is Carrick. Carrick only played passes that were on and if a through ball or a long ball didn't come off it was because he ********ed up the execution or the runner stopped or changed course. He never just tried shit. The way he's adjusted to playing with Pogba in the team and taking up different roles has been refreshing. There's no ego to him despite his importance to the team. Bruno becoming the outlet or facilitator for Pogba against Spurs whilst also taking fewer chances in general was beautiful to watch. Goes without saying, but he's the best signing in years. I'd say he's the best signing we've made since Rio. We've had more talented players in the gap, but nobody who met our needs and fit the team and transformed us quite as much.
