i'm sorry but all other support clubs are totally lame. thank god i live in the city i do. i will die for the fire.
Hey, I'm all about our supporters, but I'm not sure I'd claim our club will dominate simply due to the greatness of our fans
I agree w/ Halla, its going to be a long season for us, yes we have great fans, but great fans does not a good team make. We'll see how they do on their pre-season game this weekend, that should give us some status of the team.
I think I'll wait until we play games that count. Being a long-suffering Cubs fan (isn't that redundant) I learned long ago that there is absolutely NO correlation between pre-season performance and the way things go when they actually start handing out points for the results. And there is the Fire Curse to deal with as well.
Since out team might have some trouble this year it is our job to be 12th man. We have to be loud home and away.
If you're talking about the injury bug, I prefer to believe that it wasn't the Fire, so much as either (a) Bob Bradley, (b) Josh Wolff, (c) Hristo Stoitchkov, or (d) Nick DiBennedetto that was the source of the injury karma last year. Nick sucks! Later, COZ
you make your own luck, there is no such thing as a curse... take a look at the cubs history, bad luck resulting from their own incompetency and failure to care about their product
Hey if in the last two months of the season we are still in good position we can win this thing. After all we are heading back to soldier field! weve got pretty young but still good talent on this team. i say the Fire at LEAST make the playoffs, possibly semis. but if we manage to make MLS Cup(no offense but you got to admit, its a slim target from here) i think that well be home free.
If we stay healthy and if we don't have to many players lost to the National Team call ups I think will be ok. I think are starting 11 is as good or better then most of the teams.
