A cup final may actually be the thing to draw me in to see a Fire game in person again. But probably not.

maybe a surprise win vs NYRB at home, but

RSL, away, with a makeshift squad so we can rest players for the OC? Loss.

OC away against an MLS team that finally cares? Loss

Home against an expansion team that we should be competitive against after all meaning to the season has been lost 4 days prior? Loss

Assuming our road woes continue, does losing 6 straight get Pawno fired?

No chance they get through NE and a majority of those other games will be losses.

No, since Paunovic said the Fire "try" to win every game. That is enough.

Rodriguez would not want to go threw the separation surgery.

Wait...the Fire would have to win an away game in order to advance?! The fates are so cruel!

Purposely throw away the RSL game and they should be able to manage those 3 games. Of course Fire "managing" doesn't actually mean doing well.

They haven't won on the road in 2 years so what are the odds the fire will play in the final?

A broken clock is right twice a day. Okay maybe only once if it's the Fire.

Past results do not guarantee future failure.

Does Harvard play on grass or plastic?
