    Penalty for the Fire!

    Outstretched arm in the box.

Not intentional, but it is a handball.

    Interesting, MHS taking the penalty.
    Padding his stats!

Chris Mueller with a dumb foul three meters outside the box.

    Good save by Brady.

    Another handball by Orlando.

Do the players in Florida not understand they cannot use their hands?

"He (Schlegel) is a defender who is going to literally wear his heart on his sleeve." -Jalil Anibaba.
If he did that, Jalil, he would be literally dead.

MHS with a goal that doesn’t really count

Surprised Guti didn’t take that - could’ve sworn he’s scored one this year in Shaq’s absence.

Great goal, but we just let Orlando cut in, and we don’t close players down.

I will say, the pride numbers look good on the back of the Lions jerseys. Have had plenty of opportunities to see them while they celebrate their goals and think that should be their full time jersey.

Acosta (first time his name has been mentioned on this thread and I don't think his name has been mentioned a single time by the announcers) was the only player even trying to shut down the play and he was a step or two behind.

i don't really blame frank for much of the shitshow tonight

only weird thing is why Arnaud again at CB if Rafa healthy?

too many guys hurt to really blame him elsewhere in the roster decisions

The Fire have 6 shots on goal (11 shots in total) tonight, three (at least) by Gutierrez.

it is crazy to watch Torres and think there is anyone out there that is like "yeah, shaq is the kind of player we need at 10 in MLS"

Hey, we cut the lead in half! We’re still not going to win, but we’re losing by 50% less!

Hugo Cuypers with a nice goal.

    Right place, right time.

"German Playmaker' Fabian Herbers with the service, directly to an Orlando defender. The defender is so startled by the magnificent pass to him that he cannot control. The ball dribbles to Cuypers who buries it (as he has paid handsomely to do).

unfortunately we did not cut the lead in half

honestly, some luck shifts each way and we're the one up 4-2

No one says that. What has been said is that if Guti lived up to the hype and was that Torres kind of #10 he is on a path to becoming, Shaqiri would have probably been wildly successful.

    Gimenez in for Acosta.

"What Gimenez will do is he will play more balls forward," -Anibaba, which is a very polite way to say 'Shoot into Row Z at least once.'

Why isn't the shirt tucked in Koutsias not in this match and Dean is still on?

Perhaps and, if so, that promise should have been rescinded on about day 120 of 2022.
