I prefer individual stats. Aggregation behind a curtain just makes the numbers less useful. It’s like xG but somehow worse.
I damn near want Barlow to come in now every game just Because of the dancing banana which makes me smile and laugh generally when I am..not.
Individual stats are certainly helpful! That said, the aggregates do 'simplify' comparing players overall performance...just not as "black and white".
Did the dancing banana start with Przyblko? I can't really remember how these things organically happen.
Matt Fondy. Peanut Butter Fondy Time. He was just as useless on the field as "mighty" Tom Barlow, but had better hair. That is all I remember about him.
