I just read this on Sport.pl, Górnik Zabrze is planning on doing a 10 day tour in the US, and will likely play the Chicago Fire, nothing is set in stone just yet. Górnik was a powerhouse in the '60's and '70's.

Kick ass. I have a picture of Tomasz Waldoch on my wall. Undubitably, this will be the premier international friendly. AC-Milan, Celtic, and now Górnik. Guppy is the man when it comes to scheduling international friendlies.

I just hope it's true and you're not just tickling my ass.

    or:

They'll give this game as a gift to season ticket holders but, at the end of the season when there are extra tickets leftover (from are season tickets package)they'll say look we gave you the FIRE vs. Gornik Zabrze game so your not getting any kind of refund for your tickets that you didn't use.

    Gornik Zabrze?

Is this what we are left with?

I liked it better when teams like AC Milan came our way. :(

Let's get Everton in here. They went to Salt Lake last year, of all godforsaken places.

Salt Lake (and some other teams that get big name opponents) pay a fair amount of money to get them in.

Ya know who else loved writing in Polish? Maximilian Faktorowicz (Max Factor). He loved writing in Polish with polish. He had a very polished style, too, from what I hear.

Anyhoo: it looks like with the no-brainer int'l friendlies scheduled against Polish and Mexican teams this summer leaves little room for my chance to see the other Chicago team in TP this year. Oh hell, who am I kidding? I just wanna see their cheerleaders without being searched at O'Hare Terminal 5 first.
You guys are making things wayyyy too easy for me ;)

Hmmmmm could it be that maybe getting to see your team go up against a top side would be a bigger deal than seeing them go up against an unknown polish team?

Maybe also because it is interesting to see how your team competes with well know clubs?

Because, it's going to be a bonus game ticket and being a club seat holder I don't want to pay $61 dollars a ticket to see them play a shity team (That either team will play there first team on top of it).

Maybe, but for me it's all the Mexican/Polish hotties that come to the friendlies :D
