I think the Puma Sweatshirt is still available, but you're right, they are pretty cleaned out.

You could always just go to chicago soccer. They have plenty jerseys and and you can go get it in person. Well, not you old man:)

  4. I may lament the inconvenience, but it's I'd call it a good sign that an MLS team can sell out its merchandise.

Speaking of which, where is Chicago Soccer?

They actually just moved into a bigger, nicer spot. But it's right next door, so just go where the map sends you and you'll be there. I've only recently discovered them myself. I'm just glad there's a cool soccer store in Chicago.

I'll go to Chicago Soccer to get some Barca shorts or some Mexican League jerseys, but for Fire gear, their selection is limited at best. Last time I was there (early October) they had Fire home jerseys and knit hats. That is it.

It is kind of baffling that so much has disappeared from the Fire store considering it is the holidays. Get the sweats and knits and scarves up on the shelf PW!!!

Kind of like how I went to the 24 hour Home Depot on North Ave. yesterday to find out that they closed at 6 PM (during the holiday season.)

Also a side note - I'm very saddened to see the Fire line of Puma clothing taking off in the city. The sad part is that the versions without the Fire patch are making it into closets and not the Fire version. I've seen the Puma blue and red jackets on the streets numerous times, but never with the Fire patch.

    Check out...

Soccer Plus in Palatine or the Soccer store in Naperville/Aurora...name escapes me, but they have lots of big name clubs there...Barca, Real, Ajax, Man Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool, Bayern, and so on...plus plenty of Chicago Fire stuff...last time I was there in September...YIKES!!! Has it been that long?
