barnburners.com You missed an opportunity to visit Section 8 and get a scarf from an actual Ultra or BB and bought a shirt instead? Squanderer!
http://www.barnburners.com/ultras/scarves.html for the Barnburners ones. The Ultras ones are available only in person, I believe.
A friend of mine will (hopefully) be sending me a new one pretty soon. I can try to get him to include one for you in the package ck
I was just thinking the same thing. Only a fool pays 20 bucks for a T-shirt. Should have put it to a jersey or something. Places around here are blowing them out.
While YOU may not wish to pay $20 for a t-shirt, you can hardly call someone a fool for how they elect to spend their own money and then to further proceed to tell them how to spend it. I know a lot of my friends think I am a fool to spend money to go see soccer games . . . They may think it all they want, so long as they don't SAY it or tell me what I should do with it.
i still don't know why gohawks replied to what i said... slarvn has never been to a fire game, let alone one at naperville
My point was just that to me, 20$ for a t-shirt is just wrong. I wasn't telling him what to do, I was just suggesting. It was kinda late for that wasn't it, though. Sorry.
Ultras' scarves are available by mail, too. You just need to send me a check and I will promptly mail you a scarf. Anybody interested please email me. Marcin
you sure like to bring the hammer down on people. i understand if you're trying to make a point. but he's a kid. don't be so harsh.
Re: Re: fire scarves and my first trip to an mls game( a fire game of course) that really didn't seem that harsh if the kid says somethign stupid, he's going to get laid out for it... that's how it goes, he'll learn faster if people don't pull their punches
F u c k you slarv! On to other matters..... Hey by the way barnburners you won't give me my scarf! I have contacted you various times concerning this, my patience is wearing thin. I offered to pick up my scarf at the bar you fellas hang out, nothing. So end the maddness, I want my Fire scarf! Did I mention that I order it for the first game of the season way back when.
I wasn't trying to be harsh - just stating the fact what people elect to do with their own money is their business. No more harsh than calling someone a fool. His age has no bearing on my responses. He will have to expect to be treated like an adult on here.
Don't flatter yourself! The only other comments I have directed your way were about that inane wife beaters thread.
blackhawk guy you called me a fool for buying a twenty dollar tshirt -i was spending money on mls merchandise driving up their sales; as well as making myself a walking ad for the fire and the league -it was my, repeat my twenty bucks, it was burning a hole in my pocket, i reeaallly wanted a scarf, i settled for a consolation prize -i was wearing a yellow tshirt, it wasnt remember the sting day, i wanted to wear red -i dont want to spend 65 bucks on a fire jersey, i want to spend 70 bucks on a vintage us jersey, preferably a 1950 model -i talked to the concession guy for about ten minutes, we had a nice conversation, i didnt want to walk away empty handed -i liked the look of the shirt, something i could, say wear to class or to the gym or to party or anywhere else i wanted to go -it was my money and on that note id like to say that i, thanks to a personal email sent to my by an ultra, will be buying one of their scarves( i hope its decent looking as i havent seen it, but i have faith, as well as a cocksure manner for spending the little money i do have, and for good measure i'll purchase a barnburner scarf at a later date in time later
