Fire Jackets?

So I come to work today and there's a guy with a Cubs jacket on. And I'm thinking, the weather in Chicago is always changing. April and May can be chilly and September and October can also be cold. Why isn't there a Fire jacket?

A fire-engine red jacket with the Fire logo over the heart and "Chicago Fire" on the back. And maybe "1998 MLS Cup Champion," "1998 US Open Cup Champion," "2000 US Open Cup Champion," 2000 MLS Cup (except for a lousy ref's call) Champion" on the right side of the jacket (and then as more titles are won, more could be purchased and sewn on or ironed on).

I mean, it's probably gonna be cold Sunday night and it'd be easier to be "properly" dressed if I had a Fire jacket. I mean, even if Puma delivered my new Fire jersey in time, it'd be covered up with a jacket.

Peter is this doable? (And maybe Fire phone faceplates.)

I'd settle for a long-sleeved jersey at this point.

I'm talking about stuff available to the general public not given away by the team to vounteers or youth coaches. Show off :)

    Normal ones?

or ones that were worn by players?

I'd want one that i could live if it got scuffed up.

There were both. There were new ones inteneded for eventual use by players w/o numbers as well as previously used ones.

    Were they navy blue colored?

I'm talking red. Maybe satin. Maybe not.

What da you mean "Blech?" I don't like Spam!

Why Blech? Because it's different? Non-traditional footy gear? I say try something different. Besides, its more merchandise the club can make a profit on. And people can keep warm.

BTW, Hala, I liked your third uniform, except I'd go with a white jersey and then have two sky blue stripes above and below the stars.

I don't like those type of jackets, but that's just me. You want one, more power to ya.

Thanks, but I re-emphasise that the deign is not wholly mine. It's like the other jersey mockups before where I'm taking words and making them into a picture. Only liberty I took was with the addition of stars instead of 'Fire' or 'Chicago'.

And if the third jersey is white, then that kind of defeats the point, doesn't it? I realise that would look 'more' like the Chicago flag, but i think the intent is inspiration and the use of the city colors, not replicating it exactly, I'd think.

That's not how it works in this city. A jacket/windbreaker does sound cool.

I purchased a navy blue windbreaker a couple of years ago.
Hopefully snow and cold will keep soccer moms and kids at home.

    jacket issue

    My Fire Brothers and Sisters

The Jacket for the Fire are coming out by Puma. They will be similar to a Baseball Retro look jacket. The date is coming soon . They will be I think $70 USD. Puma is working hard to bring out everything but time to make them and ship is always a little slow. So in my words, Be on the look out. They'll be here as soon as you know it. Puma is a far better company than Nike . They have been cool so far.

    Peace
