Oh, and Marc Connelly stinks
Then again, his yearly record on predictions? 45-63.
I already sent Hard C an email thanking him for assuring us a victory tonight.
And perhaps that's why the Fire is where it's at and DC United is where it's at.
Didn't Connolly pick us to finish dead last and the Crew to win it all? Stogey, I had the same thought.
"Time to lay myself on the line. Here is what I think the standings will look like at the end of the day on October 26.
1. Columbus Crew
2. New England Revolution
3. D.C. United
5. Chicago Fire"
FWIW, he also had the galaxy first and the rapids last.
A prognosticator of quality he is not.
Connoly really pulled a Foudy on that one.
I dunno if anyone's noticed this, but if we win the East this year, I think will be the only team to win every region in MLS that ever existed (West, Central, and East).
That is completely bloody brilliant!
Is there anyone else who COULD have? Are we the only team that has even been in all of those divisions?
