    Bocanegra and Beasley?

It's interesting to note that Carlos and DaMarcus are missing? Giving them more time off? Any connection to them being out of contract?

Orlando Perez is starting to remind me of David Regis.

An absolutely incredible left back whose time has come?! I mean they don't just let anyone play in the World Cup you know.

Carlos is (or will be) in Europe trying to earn a job and DaMarcus will be with the U23 camp preparing for Olympic Qualifying (which starts Feb 3).

Gray will certainly join DMB with the U23s, Mapp is likely, Pause and Jaqua are possibilities.

I'm surprised about Perez, but Dunivant, Whitfield and Eddie Robinson were in the December camp with Orlando and didn't get called back for January. So Orlando must have played well in the December camp.

    I thought Whitfield got hurt.

He has an ankle. He'll be fine.

If Zach weighs 210, I'll eat my shoelaces. My guess is he's closer to 245 - 250

Anyone besides me see his % body fat as an issue?

    No.

Keeper of the Year nominee, second in shutouts, second in shots blocked, no missed games, Fire in the Final and with two major trophies this season.

Curtis Spiteri is thin, he must be good.

On the Temelundo news they just had a story about the guys getting called up. In addition to the 5 they also mentioned former Fire players Josh Wolf, Ritchie Kotschau, and Woly. Why can't we get coverage like that normally. They had footage of the team doing warms ups and practice at SF and talked about HDC a little.

If the extra luggage helps his durability, more power to him. Gaia help us if he ever got hurt for more than 1 game.

The Perez call-up is still a mystery to me. If he sees any playing time vs. Denmark I'll be seriously questioning Arena's judgment. Unless of course Perez blasts one in from 30 yards out to spark a comeback victory. ;)

Maybe Arena can get his mind in the game at all times - he can make some real nice long crosses and has blasted the long range goal - it's just way too few and far between. It's hard to understand such inconsistency.

It could be because he used to be a keeper and quit playing quite a few years ago. Rust. ;)

Beasley, Gray and Pause. What about Natezilla? I thought he was a U-23 player too? What about Justin Mapp?
