    Also, Bez certainly had to fire Porter to help push some of the blame off of himself to ownership. Standing by Porter would put more heat on his seat

    From the Dispatch article, "He finished his tenure with a 45-43-7 record over four seasons."

    I'm pretty sure that the record in the article is not correct considering we had 8 losses and 16 ties this year.

    It seems like we have a good core, plus we've seen Crew 2 players push for spots on the first team. We'll definitely have a few retirements and trades, but how much of this was players giving up on the coach?

    We're not as hopeless and lost as we were following the Nee era.

    I'm certainly not going to something stupid like bet the house, but winning MLS Cup before 12/2026 seems possible. Go back to the end of the 2004 season. How many of us had predicted a MLS Cup 2008 win?
