For me, he is WAAAY more dangerous on the attack than Bamba.....but...Bamba does do a lot more reliable things in he middle of the field (both on O & D)...neither does enough to help their fullback.

Thing is....Bamba makes $5.5m and Puso makes $283Ko_O

I'm ready to move Bamba and have Papa Joe bring his bag to use the tag on a D.Silva type AM

Can I take credit for the win since I was able to watch the game?

Anyway, I'm glad that Cuypers got his goal, but what a stupid way to get it. Overall, 3 points on the road is nothing to sneeze at, but they could have and probably should have put it away sooner.

ok with me -but have noticed how people stand in line to take credit but duck out the back door to avoid taking any blame?

Fire win! I can’t believe it! Woo hoo! And as a bonus, no Dje in the next match! Oregel or Pineda, please take your moment!

Credit to the Fire fans who stuck it out in that rain. That’s the epitome of a Wednesday night game.

I will humbly accept that near weakest PK foul called the Fire got tonight. Feels like no doubt the Fire got called for such weak ones before as well.

Trivia question: Chris Rolfe, likely. I don't think Nyarko ever scored on us. Maybe Kovalenko, but I don't think he was as prolific as a scorer as Rolfe.

As for the game: Everyone keeps reacting like we're still a trash team. Like someone who made a lot of money, but refuses to spend any out of fear of ever being poor again. We actually have a good squad, a good coach, and a good system. Sometimes things don't come together. But most of the time they should. The losing streak is legitimately just unlucky. I'm sure there's something that can be said that Mbo is distracted with the World Cup coming up, sometimes you have a guy like Gutman in a bad streak. It just happens. We just have to hold on until the World Cup break, then we'll have Franco and some sort of DP afterwards (Lewandowski or not, we're gonna be getting someone).
Remember where we've come from and where we are now. It's much better up here.

Thinking of the DC/Fire series, I’m reminded of Section 8 throwing a loaf of bread at Stoitchkov. Good times.

I don’t think anyone is saying we’re trash. We have sections of games where we play like trash though. We’re not consistent enough yet. As I’ve been telling friends that are skeptical of Lewandowski, we probably have the skill to make a deep run but we’re lacking a killer instinct. That’s what we need more than another tactical piece.

I do think that we do lack that "killer instinct", but more out everyone but the striker position. Maren passing out too early, Zinc trying to make things happen. Puso showed flashes, but he doesn't have the quality yet to make it count. I won't deny Lewandowski would improve things, but I just worry about the opportunity cost to get him instead of someone who would fix the issues I see in the midfield.

Yeah, we have to hope Franco returns to form or if Modric is available we can move Bamba to get him. That or Lod, Salétros, Dje need to improve quickly.

All that said I don’t see any big midfielder ready to come here.

It seems like there has to be somebody but, like you, cannot think of him.
