I went to cast my ballot, and realized I've never bothered to watch one of these allstar games. Why is it that the past scores all seem so high? are the defenders forced to wear leg lrons? do they blindfold the keepers?

Players just kind of goof off and no one really defends.

Last year's game would have been OK if they hadn't shortened it by about half because they wanted to get the half time show in and still fit in the TV slot after the rain delay.

"...All-Star Game will see a star-studded MLS squad take on a prestigious international club to be announced on June 11...."

The All-Star Game will be held on Aug 2...anybody care to make wild guesses about who it will be against?

Celtic, Juventus, AC Milan will all be stateside already, ( Man U v Barcelona is in Philly on the 3rd, so they're out I would assume) or do you think it will be a Mexican or Latin American side?

Maybe playing an iternational is a good idea then.
I mean, if MLS is going to stick with these stupid all-star games ( and you bet they are!) then the least they could do is make it sort of competitive and maybe worth watching. This might be actually a good way to highlight the league this time 'round.
