🇭🇺 After taking his shot of pálinka, Dominik Szoboszlai also led the crowd chants celebrating with the Hungarian fans today. Hungary still remain unbeaten with him as captain in a streak that now stretches 12 games - the longest run in European international football. 📷: M4… pic.twitter.com/9Q2g0XyZUg— Bence Bocsák (@BenBocsak) November 19, 2023
A very good example, in my opinion, of why it’s so important for good players to play with better ones, thereby improving themselves. I think it’s fair to say, that playing in mid-lower Bundesliga with decent but not outstanding teammates will get you so far. He was known, but not to the wider football community before Liverpool signed him and it’s fair to say that playing with significantly better players at a significantly higher level has made him a better player. The minute you hear of leagues or countries putting limits on or excluding foreign players is when you know those teams will not thrive as open countries/leagues do.
Finally have some games of consequence today... Ukraine vs Italy (Ukraine needs win to qualify, Italy need just a draw) Czechia vs Moldova (Czechia need just a draw to qualify, Moldova a win) Slovenia vs Kazakhstan (Slovenia need a draw to qualify, Borat needs a win)
nah, he would have raised a toast to Martinez, putting him on his ass, then stepped around him and tossed it back in one go.
The angle I saw on the South American TV highlights shows him pull a great high speed fake just before he shoots - which kind of froze the keeper in an open legged invitation. Quite a striker is Darwin.
