Vote for the top two from the original poll. Write ins will be counted from Wizards fans.

*I didnt put a time limit on it, but sometime next week should give us plenty of time on this. Vote now!

On behalf of all the DC United supporters who spend far too much of their time at BigSoccer.com I humbly request that you consider changing the name of your board from "Kansas City Wizards" to "Kansas Wizards" as per the Ray Hudson inspired convention on the DC United board.

Of course, making such a change would negate the possibility of adopting the tagline "Missouri Azzuri, 2000 MLS Cup Champs" - a tagline which I (not speaking on behalf of all the DC United supporters who spend far too much of their time at BigSoccer.com) think is pretty snappy.

    :)

I've got to admit that I didn't intend to open up the "Keep telling us we're boring thing" this much. If our finishing were better, then it would be perfect, but I'm not quite so sure.

Do we really score enough to use option #2??? I do believe we tied against DC was because Tony stopped two penalties... not because of our thunderous offense!

As a non-KC fan, I honestly think that the second choice is bad, but nothing could be worse than your current one.

Incedently, I think that the Missouri Azzuri is snappier than mustard.

The point I was making all along, but if we do start poaching goals left and right, then it should be used.

The problem is, I don't like associations with Missouri.

Ok, this is getting to be rediculous. We're three votes different????? Can't we agree on anything around here? :)

I dont know what to do. I don't really like the idea of changing it to something that only half of us agreed upon.

    Suggestions??????

Hey, it worked for Bush. Maybe the Missouri Azzuri people will want a recount.

I say let's roll with it.

I dont know, its so close, but I dont want to have to vote another two weeks either. But, then again, as U Yank pointed out so enthusiastically on the KC/Chi post game thread, we aren't doing a lot of scoring lately.

Missouri Azzuri. If we could score, we'd be dangerous.

While it would be perfect right now, I don't think I need to see that for the next year or so.

    gotta love this one

I must admin, this is catchy and acturate, but really something needs to be worked out here because Wizards is for Wizards of OZ which is in Kansas, but we play in Missouri, and Missouri Azzuri has nothing to do with the wizards other then we are wearing blue uniforms now. What happens in a year when we start wearing something different?

How about "Danger Bob, 1990 WC, 2000 MLS Champ, nothing inbetween nothing since?"

in light of our recent matches, the line "we'll keep on scoring" doesn't seem to apply. I vote for Missouri Azzuri.

Well I'm gonna unsticky this, and if it's that big of a priority for anyone AND they have a suggestion, throw it here, but I guess for the time being, it's status quo.
