I went to UC Riverside. We suck at everything, so not much to cheer for sports wise.

Re: NCAA FOOTBALL BARS IN L.A.????????

Somewhere I have the address of the bar where the UM Club of Los Angeles has its weekly football viewing party. I will try to get that information for you.

    Go Blue!

At UCSB we actually voted to stop funding the football program. That was funny!

You are aging yourself by admitting you were there when that happened. ;)

From the web site of the University of Michigan Club of Los Angeles:

University of Michigan Club of Los Angeles

We're Moving to The Over and Under Sports Grill!
Fall is almost upon is and you know what that means: FOOTBALL! As many of you know our football headquarters, Teaser's, closed right before the State game! Tony P's was nice, but it couldn't be our permanent place since the Gators were there first (booo).
After much researching, we have found a place we can call our own! Starting with the first game on the 31st, we will be gathering at the Over and Under Sports Grill in Santa Monica! It is located at 1333 Santa Monica Blvd, at the righthand corner of 14th and Santa Monica. There is a free parking lot adjacent to the bar, so no more searching for parking or dealing with valets.

We will have our usual raffels and giveaways for cool Michigan gear, so don't miss out and come join us for a victorious football season! GO BLUE!

Here are the kick-off times for the first four games:

    Aug. 31st vs Washington 9:00
Sept. 7th vs Western Michigan 9:10
Sept. 14th at Notre Dame 10:30
    Sept. 21st vs Utah 9:10

WOW!!!!! Thanks SOOOOOO much for the info, Cadaver. Can't tell you HOW MUCH I appreciate the effort!!

Sounds like a cool place & it's, ideally, located on SM Blvd. I'll DEFINITELY be there on Sept 7!!

Looks like Sept 14 will be a LONG, LONG day for gf03.

We'll kick things off at the Over & Under Sports Grill at 10:30am for the Mich-ND game & then head to the RB for the Galaxy-Quacks game at night.

    GO, BIG BLUE!!!!!!!

    GO, GALAXY!!!!!!!!!

Sept. 14 will be really long. There is a double-header at the RB - WUSA exhibition game before the LAG game. No firm info on kickoff times yet.

I would think the riot squad would be out in force during the WUSA game. You'll never get closer to Heather Mitts, and as a side benefit the LARS might actually be able to get a professional athlete to cry.
