i dont think korea is currently allowing dual citizenships, but i might be wrong.

for her case, shes half korean and she never played for US National Team before, so she has an option to choose korea which is her mom's country..

according to the article, she is member of USA's Olympic Development Program which is basically a reserve team for their youth team but she never played an official game for USA..

thanks to captain hong for finally introducing a girl that actually looks like a girl for our women's NT. :D

i dont mean to offend any of our thug-looking WNT players btw..

    You just did.

I remember 1 WNT young, tall player who looked like a man. I think she was the best player in the team. Others looked like typical women player you find in US, Chinese, and other WNTs.

I had no idea that was possible.
Thought you needed papers to play for that country. Maybe the grandparents rule is beyond your own papers in terms of national team....

man, these girls gave up the prime years of their youth to undergo hard training in difficult conditions to play for Korea, instead of spending time on make ups and flounting their youthful beauty like any other teenage girls would do. I agree with you that those girls don't look so hot but why don't you keep the sentiment to yourself, mate

And about the citizenship, I think if you have Korean parents (one or both) and was born overseas, you are allowed to keep dual citizenship until you become an adult (19 or 21?) - at which point you must choose and give up one nationality.

The first question for any women's team anywhere in the world is:

    What do they look like?

    No, as in: It isn't?

No, as in: It shouldn't be?

No, as in: I wish it weren't?

yeah its kinda freaky how our womens NT looks like even though theres soo many friggin other hot koreans in korea.. out of all the sports, why did the juuk-kuu sun-suu (soccer players) have to turn out like that? although i did see one decent lookin one in the newspaper. i think it was the Korean Washington Newspaper or something. but honestly i think those pictures taken by FIFA for the NT's make them all look tired and way different.

    She is Park Eun-Sun

One of the better strikers of the Korea WNT. She's only 17 or 18, i think?

she does have a really pleasent look.

i'm sure if she take care of her skin, have her hair long and use a little make-up, she'll look really nice.

She definitely looks like an ajuum-ma there...

I remember back when Korea's new total 90 NT jerseys was announced, there were couple chicks from women's youth team that were two of the models... at least they were OK... these girls are just hedious.

At times like this I can soooo appreciate that Canada has Kara Lang (she's pretty cute I think)... good enough looks PLUS great skills...

... and that's exactly what we need. Think about it. The more our WNT players look (and play) like men, the better ... ;)
