It is amazing that after this f#cking DISASTER of a season, we go into the final day with a chance to make the UEFA Intertoto Cup (UI Cup).

You can see the link below for all the scenarios that are possible for us to make the UI Cup, but for me, only one counts.

    WIN IN LEVERKUSEN!!

Intertoto Cup Information In English From BVB Official Website

I know, I know. We've won four in a row via shutout and five of our last six matches. This is GREAT, but it does not erase the misery we suffered before it.

So, even if we make the UI Cup, for me the season overall will still have been a f#cking disaster, BUT we will have ended it the right way and will be going into next season on a serious high note!

Beating Scheisse will still be the high point of the season. BUT I WANT THIS TOO!!!

    HEJA BVB!!!

Yeah plus via UI cup we could reach our season goal at the begin of next season after all

Not really. Our goal was to directly qualify for the UEFA Cup. If we win this coming Saturday, this does not make up for that in my eyes.

This winning streak does not "fix" the season for me. It makes it a bit easier to tolerate, but it does not "fix" anything.

This season was a f#cking pure DISASTER from the start until week 28.

There were small highlights, but for the most part it was a f#cking DISASTER!

We still have problems to fix and management had better f#cking fix them!

But first, the guys need to win this match!! ;)

    Well cheer up already!!!
The end of the bundesliga is the most important part so even if we werent doing so well at the begining but no need to beat your self up about it... anyway this is what i love about the game unpredictable and exciting till the end ..:)
and isnt our first goal to get into the champions league ... dortmund is much better than it is sometimes rated

And I'd love to see the next game BVB will make it 5 in the row won im sure

Dude, I wasn't "beating myself up" over anything. I can't control what BVB does. I just call it as I see it.

And the goal of qualifying for the UEFA Cup was made by the club itself, not any of us.

Let me tell you something that might sound "bad" or "pessimistic", but it is just "real".

This is not the BVB of the late 90s or early 2000s. We are NOT an elite club anymore. Directly qualifying for the UEFA Cup turned out to be an expectation that was actually too much for the team as it was at the beginning of the season.

I think having that expectation over their heads is one of the reasons they failed so miserably for most of the season.

The last thing we need to do is heap expectations on the new team next season.

Let's just see how they go and just remember, that again, this is not the BVB of the glory days.

We are trying to get back to those days. And we will. We will!

I wish I could be "sure". I think we have a great chance though. :)

I was going to say that you should know where to find those. Next season, I'll try to get them on the list each Thursday.

Match starts in about 20 minutes. Of course, everything pre-match has been on Stuttgart and Scheisse so far.

10th minute: Valdez had a "semi-break" in on Butt. Juan caught up with him and blocked the shot which the replays showed Valdez half-wiffed on anyhow....

Actually, we are playing well and we've established that we wasted our money on Valdez a long time ago.

How about giving Leverkusen some credit? There is a reason they are going to the UEFA Cup.

Did you think this would be easy?

DAMNIT! In the final five minutes of the first half, we just gave them control of the match again. They hit the post, forced Weidenfeller to make a great save and then in stoppage time, Kiessling scored for them.

As of right now, we are in 10th place.

Rolfes for Leverkusen after a beautiful pass from Bernd Schneider.

    We're down 2-0.

This is what happens when you don't use your own chances.

Lost 2-1. Finished 9th. HSV are going to the Intertoto Cup. Ironic, isn't it?

F#ck it. We didn't deserve it anyhow.

Can just hope the team retains this confidence they found under Thomas Doll......

We can always count on you to cry about a referee when the team just didn't get the job done.

The goal by Woerns was disallowed for a foul Brzenska committed. It was a correct call.

Can't comment on the Gordon call as I did not see it.
