if Monaco gains CL against Porto it will make the CL turn with Real Madrid, Corogne...

if Marseilles the Final of L'UEFA would have gained, l'année prochainne it would have etait in UEFA.

Marseilles does not play l'intertoto parce differently the club loses l'argent (displacement, planes, hotel...) all largest club wants not played this competition for that.

    Non Vrai!!!!
The amount they lose from travel to play Intertoto versus the amount they'd make is a no brainer. I'd have my team playing in the tournament. They could do well in Intertoto and if they did it right could play a combo of their reserves and first team to get through the rounds. OM in my opinion is stupid for not playing in Intertoto and going for UEFA glory because they could go far again in the tournament.

that's wrong, clubs don't want to play intertoto because this competition is a trap! you can't play these matchs so early and make a goos pre-season preparation...
look at the real Madrid who didn't make a good preparation because of a show tour in Asia, there ending was a pity->5 loose for the 5 last matchs, the players are tired since few months...
If you want to make a good season you musn't play this intertoto cup, it is simple like that...

    Rennes renonce a l'intertoto

    http://www.equipe.fr/Football/20040525_173138_01.html

    C'est Lille,qui va surement joué l'intertoto

    Rennes says not to l'intertoto

C'est Lille, which surely goes played l'intertoto

    equipe.fr

Foot - Intertoto: Rennes gives up

Because of the participation of several of its players in several international competitions, this summer, (Championship of Europe, matches of qualification for the EDGE and World cup 2006), and in order not to not more disturb its preparation of the season 2004-2005, the Stage Of Rennes announced that it will not take part in the Intertoto Cut.

The Breton club finished 9th Championship of France of L1, but the desistance from Marseilles offered a place to him to dispute the Intertoto Cut. It is Lille, 10th of L1, which should be now seen proposing a place. Earlier on Tuesday, Nantes had confirmed its engagement. Lens will also represent France.

So sad that Guingamp is down... where have you gone Drogba and Malouda? Oh yeah, OM and Lyon...

It would have been fun to see another "derby breton" with Caen.

Boy, I'm sure every L1 team is thrilled about facing Istres next year... such a glamour team.

Will the Federation stop their promotion bid? They are already on a special permit in L2 because of their stadium. Will another freepass be issued for Ligue 1?

    Close enough for me...

Hey, there is too many departments in France... Ah, Canada with its 11 provinces and 2 territories. So much easier...

    *********

How about some biggest success and disappointments of the year?

    Success:

    - French team in Europe (Marseille, Monaco, Lyon, Sochaux & even Bordeaux with good showings)
    - Didier Drogba
    - PSG's resurgence
    - St-Etienne coming back :D

    Disappointments

    - Monaco's falling flat in the second half of the season
    - Lyon winning three in a row (from a St-Etienne point of vue)
    - Bordeaux's league form

So its Lille, Nantes and Lens in the Intertoto. I think one of them can win it depending on who enters from other countries.

    Vrai!!! (True)
You have to be very deep as a team to pull off Intertoto and remember Ligue starts Aout, so it's not like you have a lot of time to begin with in regards to preparing for the season. You are so right. It one wicked ass trap and you have to have an attitude of we'll make alot of TV money, so we'll take the hit at a certain point. OM are stupid for not doing it because the club they'll more than likely play will be one they're B side should beat.

    C'est Stupide!!!
