Ok, it's now time to predict the final.

Here's how the predictions for the final are going to work.

Predict your final score, including after extra time if required. If you think it will still be tied after extra time and will require PKs to decide the outcome, then predict a tie at your decided upon score.

If you predict a tie, then predict who will win via PKs. If you predict a tie and correctly pick the advancing team, then you will get a 10 points bonus.

So, correctly pick the game -- 20 points
correctly pick the score -- 10 more points
pick a draw and correctly pick the winner -- 10 more points

    Possible total of 40 points.

    Good luck.

If it went to penalties, Juve would def. have the advantage. Buffon is playing out of this world as of late.

We'll see. Buffon is definetly the better goalie; but Dida is great penalty stopper.

Are there any prizes to this prediction contest?

This is a tough one. As my obligation as a soccer fanatic stands I will give more than a score( please excuse me, if it bothers anyone). Here we go, the fact that Nedved is missing is a blow to Juve since Nedved was the most influential player this season, because of him Juve won the scudetto and got to the Champions league final. nevertheless Juve has Del Piero,Trez., Di Vaio, Buffon, Davids, Camoranesi,etc... Milan Has been in excellent form in the Champions league, I wish I could say the same about the domestic form. Milan has Sheva, R.Costa, Seedorf, Rivaldo, Inzaghi, Pirlo, and their awesome defense. As one can see Milan have more influential players but at times this side can slack off and become careless 'cause of the fact that this side has that many good players(and as seen in the last 10 minutes of the Inter game) Hopefuly Milan can get their act together, if they do they win, if not Juve does.

In the end I'll say that Juve wins 2-1 after overtime.

Well i would like to say 2-0 Juventus because Buffan is such a incredible keeper but if Rivaldo plays i feel the score will be 2-1 Juventus. They guy can only be contained for soo long.

    i picked milan already

but i have to say as a milanista im getting tired of pippo--sure he was great early in the season but now he just misses alot and is offsides too much--------

id line up sheva and rivaldo
too bad theres been some type of a boycott on rivaldo ever since he joined milan b/c theyve wanted him since 2000

    dida

    simic nesta maldini kaladze
    pirlo gattuso
    rui seedorf
    rivaldo
    sheva

and costacurta should not start infront of simic...........costacurta is a 37 year old has been and trezeguet will burn him

    Guys,

This is a PREDICTION LEAGUE thread -- not a discussion thread about the final. I apologize if that is not 100% clear from the title, but the title is consistent with what we've been using all year. It should have been clear from the first post.

For those of you who are not in the Prediction League, please start another thread to discuss who you think will do what.

    Thanks much.
