Yeah tonight (like the entire season) was a real mixed bag. This Fire team has NO FIRE! There just seems like very few other than a couple who are leaders on this squad. There's no THERE there. It's an empty husk with some good bits and baubles.
I left the match at 4-1, then missed nothing except for 2 Fire goals. Same result. Thankfully, one match remains. I seriously hope that cheap @SS owner in San Jose ends up with Berhalter. I have a sneaking suspicion that the new Sporting Director/Technical Director/GM or whatever the Fire is going to call it will be hired in January just as training camp opens which will put the Fire behind in 2025 yet again.
That also describes our cat. She's 14 years old and that's senior for a cat. What's the Fire's excuse?
