I honestly think I’m skipping this game. It feels kind of liberating. We’ll see if it lasts up until 6:30 but on the list of the thousands of things that I could potentially do this evening, watching this ********ing club play a team in Charlotte, of all places, seems pretty low. Somehow, I feel like I’ll still be embarrassed by the result.
I have class until 8:00 or so, so by the time I get home, it will be over. It will probably be effectively over at half time, of course.
I'm not looking forward to the game, but I will watch instead of doing adult things. Edit: More of the same, but with slightly different players. Yay?! I hope that they have given Cuypers the rest of the season off. He hasn't had a break since August 2023. It is almost as if they are rolling with players auditioning for a new team. Still pissed that Rafa is not captain. At least we should get some fight out the Fire.
I am bandwagoning with you! Screw responsibility! <pshhhh....opens beer> West 6th Pennyrile to be specific. Best brew I've found here in Kentucky.
I absolutely believe Guti should be up there in a recessed role, closer to midfield. I wanted that when Shaw was around and I hope it works. I leave the assessment of Acosta at RAM up to Overlap.
Well Charlotte made that look embarrassingly easy. 1-0. Same old Fire helping other teams get highlight reel footage.
I do not like playing Omsberg and Czichos at same time but guess we have no choice with Teran frequently injured and no youngsters good enough. Or are they?
Not sure how you saw it that way... He de-possessed Pep and neither Gaston nor Fabi moved to possess the ball... Pep stayed aggressive and the worst thing Rafa did was to step up to pressure Pep again...
Thank GOD for Brady! Gimenez gives away a sh*t ball and then trots back. No sprint, no recovery run. I realize this is for pride but FFS HAVE SOME!?!?!?! EDIT: Was that a Guti pass? I didn't quite see?
