I've been absent from this section of Bigsoccer for literally years, so I don't know if it has been done.

If it hasn't I'd like to know how many people would be interested in a film draft of the Noughties?

I'd like to get at least 10 people involved.

I've never done one so I'd need a crash course on the rules, but I'm down.

I might be interested, give me some time to think this over and see if I could even come up with a worthwhile list for that decade.

Its basically like a sports draft

    There are 10 rounds

The participants have one pick each round

They are "on the clock" for a certain amount of time. If they don't make a pick before their time is up they are passed and the next participant is on the clock.

So we got 2 maybe 3.

This forum seems to have died down a lot over the years.

We still do drafts. We just finished the Guitar Solo draft, and I run a TV related draft at least once a year.

I'll play. I am renowned for my taste in movies.

Sorry - that was a spell check mistake. It should be "renounced".

I would be better equipped for a 90s or 80s, but okay I am in.

Still haven't thought much about this, but go ahead and sign me up, I'm sure I'll find enough time to scrape together a semi-respectable draft. :)

    Is a mini-series considered a film?

I'm not running this, but "film" usually implies a theatrical release (because that is how they used to be distributed to theatres) while "movie" is broader.

Silly question, but how do you highlight a person's name to let them know they are next to vote? I've seen it done in other drafts but I have never used that feature.

Just put an @ in front of their name. No space.

And there has to be a space right after the name. Don't put anything else like a period or comma.
