BIG BIG RESPECT FOR PHILIPPINNE WNT Thailand were better team tonite but your girl's @Dernhelm never ever gave up They can proudly walk from this match with heads held high. Bravo! I really do hope that your FA will stick around with this team for next cycle. The potential is there.
Sadly this looks at the moment like the most likely outcome, unless Japan doesn't find a way to beat Australia!
Sorry for the lack of updates... I had to go home earlier than expected... my mom passed away while me and the team were at the Dead Sea... Such strange and surreal times for me...
I am really sorry for you, Dernhelm. Since you wanted to share this painful moment with us, I want to express my condoleances to you. It's obvious that, in these moments, the beautiful game comes second best.
This is so shocked right now for me (and everyone here I guess). My very deep condolences and support, I suffered the same a few years ago and I guess I know exactly how you feel right now.
I'm sorry i couldn't help myself... it was just so ironic i was with our football team when it happened... I probably shouldn't have... It's a terrible way of coping...
What do you mean? What you shouldn't have done, Dernhelm? Sharing with us? It was natural and I didn't see nothing wrong with it. And being with your football team is just your life. Nothing worng in what you did, in my eyes. Be strong. Hugs.
And we're back! Or still have a big tournament coming for the year! That makes it 3 tournaments this year for our senior WNT, and if our national sports commission were not being dumb, it could have been 4 with the Asian Games. Oh well! I was with the team in Indonesia for the AFF tournament and twas pretty subpar, i/we know. Made lots of friends with the local and Burmese media (i think some of the players tried to befriend Myanmar too hehe) and also funny how we got drawn with Singapore again cos there was one player there i particularly called out because she looked so much like this other Filipina player, hehe. Btw i put up an Instagram account so if i go missing here you can follow some of my adventures/updates there @ishneak

Just popping in to drop my best mixtape yet! J/K i'm really proud of this piece i wrote on our #1 goalkeeper Inna Palacios. It's a bit of a heartbreaking story connected to the Women's Asian Cup last year that i hope you will all appreciate. Don't worry, it has a good/hopeful ending! Inna Palacios and the epitome of Filipina resiliency https://tiebreakertimes.com.ph/tbt/inna-palacios-and-the-epitome-of-filipina-resiliency/145410
Thanks @blissett i'll try to visit back here more often with the very busy schedule i have now The article pretty much gives you a picture what happened to the team after Jordan. And should provide answers why the lineups were radically different.

Whatever happened to the girl who was on MTV real world? Did she stop playing? Think she would ever come back. Heather Cooke
