BIG BIG RESPECT FOR PHILIPPINNE WNT:thumbsup:
Thailand were better team tonite but your girl's @Dernhelm never ever gave up:notworthy:
They can proudly walk from this match with heads held high. Bravo!
I really do hope that your FA will stick around with this team for next cycle. The potential is there.

Sadly this looks at the moment like the most likely outcome, unless Japan doesn't find a way to beat Australia!

Sorry for the lack of updates... I had to go home earlier than expected... my mom passed away while me and the team were at the Dead Sea... Such strange and surreal times for me...

I am really sorry for you, Dernhelm. Since you wanted to share this painful moment with us, I want to express my condoleances to you. It's obvious that, in these moments, the beautiful game comes second best.

This is so shocked right now for me (and everyone here I guess). My very deep condolences and support, I suffered the same a few years ago and I guess I know exactly how you feel right now.

I'm sorry i couldn't help myself... it was just so ironic i was with our football team when it happened... I probably shouldn't have... It's a terrible way of coping...

What do you mean? What you shouldn't have done, Dernhelm? Sharing with us? It was natural and I didn't see nothing wrong with it. And being with your football team is just your life. Nothing worng in what you did, in my eyes.

    Be strong. Hugs.

And we're back! Or still have a big tournament coming for the year! That makes it 3 tournaments this year for our senior WNT, and if our national sports commission were not being dumb, it could have been 4 with the Asian Games. Oh well!

I was with the team in Indonesia for the AFF tournament and twas pretty subpar, i/we know. Made lots of friends with the local and Burmese media (i think some of the players tried to befriend Myanmar too hehe) and also funny how we got drawn with Singapore again cos there was one player there i particularly called out because she looked so much like this other Filipina player, hehe.

Btw i put up an Instagram account so if i go missing here you can follow some of my adventures/updates there :) @ishneak

Easy victories so far for OutKast FC and University of Santo Tomas, and a close game between Far Eastern and University of the Philippines:

A couple of updates from the league season:

La Salle sets league-record for most goals scored, continues UST chase
    https://tiebreakertimes.com.ph/tbt/...ecord-goals-scored-continues-ust-chase/129649

What's the difference between De La Salle University and De La Salle Zobel?

    (17 goals, apparently)

And in November, they set up a title decider:

PFFWL Roundup: La Salle overtakes UST as season nears finish line
    https://tiebreakertimes.com.ph/tbt/...overtakes-ust-season-nears-finish-line/133565

It came down to the top 2 in the final week, and La Salle won the game 2-1 to finish on 25pts, ahead of UST (Santo Tomas) on 21pts.

Thanks @blissett i'll try to visit back here more often with the very busy schedule i have now :)

The article pretty much gives you a picture what happened to the team after Jordan. And should provide answers why the lineups were radically different.

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChKAR6WHT5Zsxiwg7KWr2ng is Eva Madarang's YouTube channel unrelated to soccer. I'm happy she made an introduction video because I was watching her not knowing she played for a national team. Her YouTube channel has 291 subscribers. She likes photography.

Whatever happened to the girl who was on MTV real world? Did she stop playing? Think she would ever come back. Heather Cooke

She had a bad exit from the team in 2015 following a dismal AFF tournament :(
