My article on how the league is like http://tiebreakertimes.com/tbt/pffw...aap-champion-la-salle-stretches-unbeaten-run/
One of the teams played two back-to-back matches in consecutive days? Ok, the first one didn't seem too much tough, since they won it by 0-7, but the day after they had to be still tired, if they lost an home game by 1-4...
Oh, the games are all in one venue. The federation's decided to come up with back to back games so that the first round can end soon. They try to make sure that the players get at least 24 hrs' rest.

Just sharing some of my recent photos of some of my favorite strikers ^ Kyra Dimaandal ^ Camille Rodriguez ^ Chelo Hodges ^ Charisa Lemoran Recognize any of them in the WNT group photos? Hehe ...In all honesty tho, i love all the girls. hard to pick a clear favorite!
PFF Women's League results from July 1-2 That concludes the first round, there will be a break before the return of the second.
I noticed there are often very lopsided results in this league (6-0, 1-6 this week alone, for instance): there is really so much difference between the teams, in your opinion, or there are other reasons for that?
For the first match, player injuries and commitment were the problems that plagued TYFA. It's the club of the most famous men's players at the moment: the Younghusband brothers. As for the 2nd match that went 6-1 between De La Salle and Green Archers United FC, it is a good match. GAU scored first, caught DLSU sleeping but the top dogs bit back with a vengeance. They're the top 2 teams at the moment so i wouldn't say it's an unfair matchup (considering GAU scored first too). It only means DLSU are a very very good team that knows how to break team's backs when they get into rhythm.
Well didn't this semi kind of went viral any day 🇵🇭 women's ⚽️ gets featured in newspapers nationwide is a good day! congrats to DLSU's talented @kyradimaandal! #fromACLtoTOPstriker pic.twitter.com/H5OLtc6Kbj— 𝕞𝕚𝕒𝕞𝕠𝕟 (GUNDAM SEED FREEDOM IS HERE) (@ishneak) July 3, 2017
The federation wouldn't let us media corps announce the new head coach just yet even tho we've especially me have known for quite a while already (they want to be the first to declare things, but they kind of take a while... they kind of like to prioritize the men first ) but since Moya has said it, it's out there lol. She's the new head coach of the Philippine WNT. Meet Marnelli Let Dimzon, coach of Philippines WNT. Her wish: to have equal support for #womensfootball, & recognition as it's own entity pic.twitter.com/aXG1Zww4VP— moya dodd (@moyadodd) July 2, 2017 Fans from the Japanese thread may recall that i refer to her like our Asako Takakura
Have they released a roster for this camp yet? Things are looking up for the #PilipinasWNT after their 3rd tuneup this time against @LSGHFootball! #LabanFilipinas #RoadToSEAG2017 pic.twitter.com/EoMBrIlnqo— Philippine WNT ⚽ (@PilipinasWNFT) July 7, 2017
Officially (translation from the PFF) not yet. But i know the players who have been participating and who else is flying in from abroad
Just want to share this video i captured of the team yesterday during the halftime break of their tuneup game. It really shows you the funny side of the PWNT Background commentary is provided by me (yes, that's me laughing from time to time) and the mom of the Castañeda sisters.
Wrote an article on the new head coach of the PWNT: http://tiebreakertimes.com/tbt/let-dimzon-takes-over-as-womens-football-team-head-coach/90657 If anyone wants any bits translated, do let me know
Lol, the mix of English and Tagalog always cracks me up! More than the traslation, I am curious about this change, so close to the qualifier tournament. The previous coach had qualified in Jordan: why this sudden change? Was there anything wrong with previous coach? Does this one look like a much needed upgrade for the upcoming tournament? But will she have the time to implement a new system in a so short time? Or is it a move more aimed to the far future?
