Interesting article from fijifootball.com... talk about how Fiji are preparing for the South Pacific Games in June.

"The Fiji women’s soccer team is adamant that they win the first gold medal in the inauguration of the sport in the South Pacific Games here in June."

What happened to Fiji?

As recently as March 12 they were raring to go in the Oceania WWC qualifiers.

Now they're not going.

Maybe sars has hit Fiji but I didn't think it reached there. Or maybe they are just being cautious.

I couldn't get the link to work, but according to the preview of the article Fiji are still going to participate in the Oceania WWC qualifiers.

I think the link doesn't work because the article was withdrawn - Fiji itself has withdrawn from the tournament.
