This has been rumoured for awhile that Figo will come to Milan and join fellow countryman Rui Costa in the Milan midfield. Galliani even said earlier this year that one of Figo, Beckham, or Ronaldo would come to Milan for the next season. But Figo will only come if Beckham leaves for Real. As a Milan fan I hope that we don't sign Figo or Beckham because Figo is looking like he is fading abit this year and Beckham wouldn't cut it in Serie A. There is no chance Ronaldo is coming. I hope Milan sign someone younger and cheaper than both Beckham and Figo. I want Van der Vaart or Kaka.

I think Beckham would fair well in the Serie A. But I agree with not wanting him. I don't think Milan need a player like him nor Figo.

I think we can cross Beckham's name off the Milan transfer list because it looks like Real have signed him. Good for them, Real really needed to bolster thier weak midfield ;) Who needs a defense anyway?

Figo could bolster the offense for Inter, especially if Batistuta and others leave. He would provide a proven winner. It would be a good move.

At least he would be treated as king and not as a second rate player, his assists could come in handy and will replace fellow countryman Conceicao that in the last season and a half showed he's not fit.

    Inter Admit Figo Interest.

Inter general director Massimo Moretti says that the club are interested in Luis Figo, but not as payment for the remainder of the Ronaldo deal.

"Figo is older than Beckham, but he is among the players that we are looking at," he said.

"There is a still a long time before the market window closes and we think we can do something (in general terms).

"Real Madrid are paying Ronaldo's transfer as was agreed between the two clubs, which also includes the 10 million euros (£7m) in compensation for Solari not coming to Milan."

And on missing out on David Beckham: "No, we are not disappointed.

"Beckham interested us, like other players. But he was not Inter's priority.

"We know that this can happen when a top player is put on the market, that there are going to be several teams interested.

"In this case, Real Madrid have made the transfer and there is nothing we can do."

    Figo in new Real pledge

Real Madrid’s Luis Figo has again told Inter to forget about making a summer swoop for his services.

The Portuguese ace is wanted by the Nerazzurri but maintains that he has no intention of moving anywhere.

"I’ll decide my future," said the former Barcelona player. "I have a contract with Real and I think I will respect it. That is the only certainty amongst all this speculation."

Reports suggested that the ex-Sporting Lisbon ace could be sold after the Spanish champions signed David Beckham last week.

"We’ll all benefit from the arrival of a player like Beckham," added the international. "He will be welcomed like I was.

"There is great harmony in our side and there are no motives to suggest that it will be any different next year."

Inter are looking to sign new wide players this summer and Figo was one of many names associated with a San Siro switch.

    Good...I never liked him anyways...
