Figo to join FC Porto next season. PDC and Couceiro would like to use his influence on the young Porto players, especially Ricardo Quaresma.

Okay, that was completely fabricated, but it wouldn't be a bad idea. ;)

I thought Porto was officially done with trying to get players just because they used to play on the national team... I don't want them to do to Figo what they did with Conceicao... ;)

Conceicao was a good player. I don't think he got a really good chance when he came to Porto. Funny thing is Porto keeps the likes of Fabiano forever and allowed "Pitbull" to stink up the Champions League.

How can you be so sure of that? It would not be that bad. We got Van der Sar today too. :)

I've also heard that Newcastle and Manchester City were after Figo.

I wouldn't be surprised if some team in the U.S, a MLS team made an offer for Figo. Like an L.A, D.C, or something.

Mls signing Figo?ROFL yeah right ,you ever heard of a salary cap in the MLS?

I think he will end up in Italy, cause knowing Figo we will not play for a Newcastle or Man City or Bolton......He wants a CL team. Those other teams are not CL teams.....

    Re: Luis Figo"s next Destination

Well no offense to Figo, but he might have to settle for a UEFA CUP team instead. Well if he keeps playing the way he is for the NT, maybe not.

When you really think about Figo would wanna play for the Big 5 leagues: Laliga, EPL, Serie A, French league, or Portuguese League. Not every team can afford him either. in the epl, chelsea, manu, arsenal have no use for him, and everton can't afford him. mourinho already said no more portuguese this year.

in la liga: there's Barca and Real Madrid, neither team want him really, every other team can't afford him.

in italy, juventus, ac milan don't need him, inter milan? I dunno.

Who's left...looks like you're running out of CL teams.

Sporting cant even afford him. So where do you go figo?

Tell us what the defenite answer is!!!!

There are lots of CL teams out there. For once i know that Lyon is very interested in him...Their in the CL ,id rather see Figo in France than playing for some Low life Brit club......

    Re: Luis Figo"s next Destination

When you think about it...Figo is galactico...he isn't gonna go to some team like Tottenham, Newcastle, or Manchester City. Those teams aint even in the UEFA Cup.

Figo is really interested in going to the best teams, but I think Figo would be more suited to the French and Italian league than the English league. In any case, It would be a good idea for ManU to sign Figo, if anything, because Cristiano Ronaldo can always use another mentor, who happens to be a fellowcountryman of his, and happens to be his idol. The only way they'll do that if Giggs gets dealt.
