I think he'll start off with a bang...then his play will fade off a bit. I predict he'll start 75% of the games...and score 3, 4 goals this season for Inter. Inter will finish 3rd, but get the boot in the quarters of the CL. I also think Inter will win the Italian Cup.

    Footballer of the year...NO WAY!
That'll be the other Portuguese with the #7 jersey in England.

I do gotta say that's a sharp lookin Inter Jersey...the blue and black. Looks even better now that Figo's wearing it. F~ckin wops manage to bag up another Portuguese player.

I don't think that Inter Milan wants him to be the man; rather, they will be looking to him to be another piece to the puzzle of putting together a Serie A championship team...

He also says he believes he was born to play in Italy and his destiny was to be a part of Inter. I really am confident he will do will.

I also agree that Figo and Adriano will be a deadly combination. but also look for figo setting up the speedy martins!

So much things to be excited about in this upcoming year...Figo and Adriano playings together, Watching C.Ronaldi improve and attempt to take over the world. Deco and Ronaldinho creating havoc in Spain. Beto and Montorras at Benfica trying to do well in the CL and last but not least.....WORLD CUP 2006!

If Inter wins the Scudero , R. Madrid will be kicking their backsides for months. :)

It's not exactly like Real Madrid can win the Scudetto, I see what you're saying; but it's impossible to think like that. Now, if Internazionale won the Champion's League, THEN Real Madrid will be kicking their backsides for not months but years.

Figo with Milan...But, will he now be OVERWORKED before the WC06?

Now that Figo joined Inter Milan. Im pretty sure he will be getting the nod from the organization to start most if not all thier games...

But this move worries me a little bit. Let me tell you why.

When he said he would be returning to play for the selecao, he was at Madrid, and one of the main reason he decided to come back was because he was not being played. There for he had energy in reserve and though his skill and energy could be used....Which made sense cause his contract for Madrid was for another year. So he would be "resting" alot JUST BEFORE the World Cup 2006!

But now hes with Inter Milan, in a pretty competitive, rough league. A team which will also be competing in the CL. So i ask you this my friends...Will Figo be able to preform at a high energy, high confidence level for a year and half which would go though the WC06.

Cause the 2 qualifications games that i saw him play in after his announcement. He REALL surprised me, crossing the ball with percision, Drawing and dribbling pass 2 defenders...playing with high energy and high confidence.. you could see he was rejuvenated...

but what happens now that HE WILL BE GETTING PLAYING TIME?

Can it last for a year and half

Why because he is 32?? I recall Baggio playing well past 32, same as Signori, Zola, etc..... I always find it hilarious how Italians think Figo is done. He will prove everyone wrong and terrorize some defences....

I think he will play well for Inter Milan, but the question is, will he still be able t preform at a high level during the World Cup?

By the time Figo his done all the Inter fans will kiss his ass, like the Chelsea fans are doing with Mourinho.

Wow Figo with Adriano !!!!!! Fantastic move. Figo will do great there. Figo will also do great for our NT. He wants to show all of those that dought him, that he still can do it. I look forward to seeing a motivated Figo this year. Chears
