Well, there is a slight difference Mourinho won everything here with us, plus he made his name here, Figo and Rui Costa were very good players at Sporting and Benfica but the maximum they achieved was an Portuguese Cup? (Figo) and a league title (Rui Costa), they made their name in Spain and Italy.
So my point is...Mourinho job in FC Porto is more than done, he will always be remembered as an legend because of what we achieved with him...

Re: Luis Figo to Inter Milan

Figo made his name at Sporting...thus sparking the interest of Barcelona...at Barca he developed into a Star...at Real he became a Galactico...

He made his name but not in the same way Mourinho did in FC Porto...
Anyway it was a terrible deal by Sousa Cintra, 2,5 million euros or something like that...it was a team full of talent but with no guidance.

P.S. He turned into a "galactico" in Barcelona and then he was a "star" in Real Madrid if you know what i mean

I agree......Channel 4 comes out with Italian rumours everyday single day. Until I read that the transfer is official on Gazzetta, then you learn to just leave it as it is, just a rumour.

Re: Real Madrid don't blame it on Figo[R]

Because Perez wanted someone who had the balls to bench the only hard-worker in Madrid's midfield (not taking away from Guti and Solari who IMO were playing hard week-in and out).

Madrid are only interested in stretching the bottom of their own pockets that little inch more. And that little inch is the difference between Figo starting and being benched.

Vanderlei is a little mickey-moue manager. He's getting paid to do what Perez tells him to. It's a joke. The only thing he has a say in is that every Brazilian gets a starting spot no matter what.

Hell, Robinho is just going to come to European football and already have a place over Morientes, Raul(who'll go back into midfield), and Owen JUST because he's Brazilian.

    It's a joke.

Re: Real Madrid don't blame it on Figo[R]

Robinho being better then Raul is debatable as well as ....RObinho is definitly better then Morientes...

Robinho being better then owen is hard...Robinho is definitly more creative with the ball and has just as good a shot as owen...owen is faster though, find the long ball alot better...

Do i sense some brasilian hatred in your blood?

To me Robinho is more hype then anything we'll see how many CL's he brings to Real, hell I bet if Barca keeps the team they got it will be a long while before a Figoless Real wins La Liga.

What would you know? Maybe you have just tuned into the Serie A when the match is very defensive and coincidently when you aren't watching a Serie A match, that match is nothing like your assertion.

Would you say that a match like Parma 6-4 Livorno is as dull as hell or the
    Inter 3-2 Sampdoria match?

Try the raisport website for some video clips.

Apparently you do or you wouldn't have asked that as a question.

It's nothing against Brazilians. It'd be the same-case scenario if Vanderlei was Japanese and just let any random Japanese waltz into the first team. And the same with every single nationality in the entire world.

If you sensed some Brasilian hatred then I'm sorry but your interpretation needs some more work.

I agree 100% with you. He's quick and that gives him the upper hand on his opponents. During the confederation cup he didn't look outstanding, actually rather average. His small size will be his achilles heel cuz he will get killed in euro competition.

Brazilian club soccer is not good at all. Too many pre-madonnas and diving. the quality is second rate compared to othe countries like Argentina.

And I have nothing against brazilians....my G/F is from RIO
