According to Marca.com, Florentino is not happy with Figo's play this year. He is very anxious to swap Figo (for Beckham) or simply sell him and get some younger talent. Figo missing the penalty against Juve was probably the last straw for Florentino.......where do you believe Figo will end up? Manu? Italia? BArcelona:)?

    Following one step b
    The one to blame on

Well, people is not only blaming Figo (yes he could change the destiny of the game) Hierro is with him on people´s target.
There has been a lot of discussion about Real Madrid future after losing CL. Valdano said the team won´t change, even Hierro, who is the first Real Madrid player bashed for losing the team, will stay.
D´Estefano also said there´s no need to change the team, but is true Figo and Hierro are not so fast right now, but also Ronaldo, Raúl weren´t at 100% due to injuries and cirgury, and Roberto Carlos did not a so good job, and the team needed Makelele. In the other hand Juventus played good, and the discussion of Catenaggio technique.
I haven´t heard so much discussion about Figo, he did a good job despite penalty stopped.
