Milan manager Stefano Pioli confirms Mike Maignan (27) will miss the World Cup, after the goalkeeper's calf injury resurfaced.https://t.co/IJMPQxXrzY— Get French Football News (@GFFN) October 21, 2022
Sad news for him but it likely means Areola of West Ham will make the squad again along with Lioris and maybe Mandanda.
Confirmed from U.S. Soccer that they won't be making the #USMNT provisional World Cup roster public, nor will FIFA. With that roster due today, some federations have been voluntarily releasing their lists in recent days— Seth Vertelney (@svertelney) October 21, 2022
Varane feels like he knows he will be missing the World Cup. France are lucky they have depth because they not having a great buildup.
Here I had a go at an England preview. You can find other team previews also on my channel. Hope you enjoy!
🚨 FIFA are under pressure to hand Iran's World Cup place to Ukraine - 'This will be a fair decision' pic.twitter.com/ymVddHkUsK— SPORTbible (@sportbible) October 24, 2022
It’s not very likely. If Iran are expelled the UAE are first in line and if not them another Asian team.
I sympathise with Ukraine and what they are going through but can’t see the correlation of why they should replace Iran if they are removed. Surely it would be the next team in line from Asia plus we can’t have three European teams in one group.
It would. There is no way Fifa could remove Iran and then decide Ukraine takes their place. The United Arab Emirates are next in line and would not be very happy.

Paul Pogba will miss the Qatar 2022 World Cup due to new injury, confirmed by his agent Rafaela Pimenta. 🚨🇫🇷 #Pogba Pogba has not played one single official game with Juventus since he signed the contract last July. pic.twitter.com/nn13g6xGIX— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) October 31, 2022 France are either going to do very well despite having quite a few players with injury and fitness problems or they will implode like nearly all defending champions do now a days.( And if they implode it probably be spectacular and in a way only the French team can.)
Wales are changing their name to cymru. Don't know if its during the world cup but they already have their anti-english hats on and we haven't disrespected it yet
Not sure they'll be a disaster but Pogba out is a huge problem for them, he always saves his best for France. Even when they flopped out in Euro '20, Pogba was the one who really turned up. They don't really have any midfield to come in who matches his creativity at his best. On top of Kante that's their starting midfield out which is going to be difficult to overcome in terms of actually winning the tournament. Huge hole of experience there to fill now. Still have the talent to do well though.
Wouldn't be against playing them in the quarters. I think a midfield of Bellingham and rice is better than camavinga and tchouameni. Especially if benzema isn't fully fit. Mbappe is the only player I would really fear
