Wales are having a hard time against Iran. Iran looking the better team right now with shots, multiple shots hitting the posts.
Ramsey isn’t the force he was last World Cup, neither is Bale.
This the team that drew with the US, and Iran that England scored 6 on.
Going to be a couple more interesting matches to play in this group. Including later today.

These unpunished fouls / assaults are getting ridiculous now .

Ref just played on .. the pour lad is limping now

 

People have complained about too many fouls being given so FIFA have told ref’s to give less.

 

Enner Valencia possibly out of the WC now and Gakpo also limping

The teams are obviously targeting the opposing teams main players

 

I didn't see the Holland games but the stats are really surprising, it looks like they were dominated by Ecuador effectively. Looking at the Dutch XI I thought they might be resting players but it looks as weak of a Dutch side as I can remember.

They were good for the first quarter or so including when they scored but after than Ecuador were the better side and i felt from when they equalised that they would get an winner but they didn’t.

 

Had the chance to read somewhere since 1966 a European team didn't finished a game with only 2 shots.

As much as I like Van Gaal this Dutch team for me it's a worse version of the team they had in 2014 for this style of play, only player who brings something different is Gakpo.

2014 they had Sneijder/Robben/Van Persie as a trio upfront, now they have Klassen/Gakpo/Bergwijn, simply not good enough.
