Damn it. Frenkie was playing with a knee injury, and used painkillers to get through the games. Now, he might be out for four months. Does this mean that Casado stays now? I sure as heck wouldn't include Bernal in that idiotic Alvarez purchase. God, I hate international football because this, Gavi, Pedri, Fati, FFS, even Umtiti.
Messi has more assists than Mbappe now so if Mbappe doesn't score or assist in his last game against England then Messi will win the Golden Boot ( unless either Kane or Jude score a hattrick ) https://www.fifa.com/en/tournaments...6/articles/adidas-golden-boot-race-top-scorer
So 1. Tuchel is a moron 2. Fans of Real Madrid - the capital of Spain - are anti Spain. This is somehow related to 1
Well, it's natural for non-Spanish Madrid fans to dislike Spain given the composition of the squad. This is a worse-case scenario for those people. Messi v a bunch of Barca players in the WC final. Nom nom nom
I dont think Tuchel covered himself in glory. But then, Tuchel also wasn't the one taking each and every restart and goal kick long. This effectively made every England possession approximately 5 seconds long, and gave it right back to Argentina to resume attacking. Over and over and over and over. Even Mrs. Khan was asking me, "Why are they just kicking it away every time? Why don't the white team try to keep the ball?" I'd blame the English players for 60% of the failure by England for dropping ever too deeply, and for Pickford and others mindlessly punting the ball long to setup a turnover. The other 40% is on Tuchel for his substitutions and failure to get the players to play properly.
Love Messi, but DAMN I'm glad Spain won. Total domination with possession and chances on goal (... until those final minutes of extra time) Thoroughly deserved. But yeah, feel bad for Messi. Will always love that guy.
