He has the kind of status where they win a penalty and sub him in just to take the penalty.

And also one of the reasons he kind of fumbles it in the CL. Just way too much retooling and trying to be clever. Zidane did the same when he left Kroos on the bench vs City to surprise them and it didn't really work.

If any Algeria player would foul like that Messi - straight red, no doubt. But since it's Messi who did it.. play on. :)

Yes, it's all rigged. It's a conspiracy, Florentino was right. Real Madrid had multiple world championships STOLEN!

If the rig is so easy to see, why don't we just all dump on Argentina to win, Messi to win the best player award, and get rich?

I mean it's all CLEAR and OBVIOUS? Go to fanduel and dump all your savings on it?!

It reflects badly on this group when it's becoming a total tinfoil hat group and the football becomes a background to stupid narratives and weird rumors.

I think the world can thank Don Florentino Perez and his first in command Jose "Park the Bus" Mourinho for taking conspiracy theories in football and going mainstream with them, right on camera - without hesitation or shame.

This is not 2011 anymore guys, we can move on from hating on Messi and appreciate his greatness.

Especially if you are a Real Madrid fan and not a Cristiano fanboy.

Awesome!! Good to hear this from someone i actually trust. I have been a bit apprehensive but i am taking my family this weekend for the Belgium - Iran game at Sofi...... oh sorry Infantino........ at Los Angeles Stadium. Hopefully there won't be any bullshit outside, i read the other day that LA has the largest community of Iranians outside of Iran. I just want everyone to come enjoy the game and go home safe and sound without being insulted or profiled. If we have a good time i am gonna try to get last minute tix for US - Turkey game.

While different in profile, Olise is essentially the replacement for Antoine Griezmann. The former Atlético Madrid forward is the player with whom Mbappé has played most at international level (83 times). No player has provided Mbappé more assists than Griezmann. His retirement from international football left a void but it is now being filled.

Their combination was key to unlocking a game that, for more than an hour, provided plenty of cause for concern for Deschamps. France lacked creativity in midfield and variety in attack. Dembélé, Olise and Doué all wanted to occupy the same areas and there was a lack of forward runs from the wide players.

Deschamps identified it at half-time. Dembélé was moved out to the right and Olise brought into the middle. The manager explained his decision: “We were a lot better when Michael was positioned in the middle. I did it because I thought it would provide more of a link. Michael can play on both sides, but the more he gets on the ball, the better.”

Deschamps opted to start Doué, more technically gifted, rather than Bradley Barcola, a direct runner who stretches defences. Barcola’s goal from off the bench could provide Deschamps with food for thought before the Iraq game next Monday.

It's crazy that it has already been 8 years since Cristiano's departure from Madrid. He has been gone after he left for nearly as long as he was with us.

Hope he has a tremendous World Cup. Expectations are on the ground right now for him

Yes. Nothing but love for our legend. With time people forget the minor bullshit he got up to or at least i have. I wish him a successful WC and lots of goals and then i hope he decides to retire soon and enjoy his post work life and find other ways to channel his competitive spirit.

I don't wish Cristiano doesn't do well in the world cup but I don't like him from the prism of a Real Madrid fan. He was a mercenary, maybe the best mercenary we could hire. But that's all he was. Didn't care about the club and I stopped caring about him the moment he left and started talking about family in Torino.

Of course I'm nostalgic of our team back then, we really had 10 or 11 players that were the best of the world in their position. Watching Modric and Kroos control the games back then... :inlove:

Bernardo is way too slow for the wing, should not play him there when he comes here.

I dont like Bruno, move Bernardo in midfield and Conceicao on the wing

Bruno bench dont care about his assists in the EPL

I think their sporting director has a big role in that. If u recall we were very strongly linked to him joining our club for months before PSG got him. They've done well in recruiting and Lucho then pushed them across the finish line in Europe.
