Man, that would hurt Brazil and Argentina supporters.

Neither teams move the needle for me though.

and then after that 3 others including a mod continue to beat the same topic beyond death yet to refuse to bat an eyelid. Make it make sense.
The only trap you fell into was genuinely believing that bragging about a forward’s Apple Watch fitness rings during a 0.00 xG disasterclass was a good idea.

Reports suggest that Real Madrid wanted to have Cucurella and Victor Munoz registered as Real Madrid players for that reason but got turned down on both.

Agreed. However, I must admit that during the corners Argentina received towards the end of the game, I saw Spanish defenders touch Argentine players inside the penalty box. Albeit those touches were less forceful than Molina's push on Nico Williams prior to Ferran Torres' goal, such minor contact would have resulted in guaranteed penalties for Argentina in 2022 or earlier in this tournament. The only reason they weren't awarded this time was the global condemnation and social media scrutiny that occurred after the Egypt match.

I attended one game and it was great. Fun. So great to see people from different parts of the world. I saw so many small examples of random fans helping others with English translations and such. Nice experience. Would have gone to more but the prices were......... sheesh. Especially for the games i really wanted to attend. I wish the 3rd place game was in LA. And i am also glad so many people questioned the final being in that crap stadium in irrelevantstan.

There's no room to praise anyone or anything when the air waves (podcast waves?? lol) are flooded with EPL 24/7 365. Even the Fox commentators (Fox does not hold the US right to EPL) would mention it 3-4 times every game. Ohh here comes Steven Steveface from Cape Verde, he had a trial at Tranmere Rovers in 2009 and played a friendly against Fulham of the ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE. :D

You can say many things about this guy, but he's a man of his word. He said he'd get a tattoo of De la Fuente's face if they won the World Cup, and he actually did it.

What do you mean who cares? It's the principle of holding every team accountable to the rules and regulations of the organization [FIFA] they belong to.

If rules will be applied selectively like they have at this and the previous World Cup; what's the point in having rules in the first place? They should be enforced consistently for every team, not only when it's convenient.

What I'm trying to say is as a euro snob™ I really dgaf about South American qualifiers.

Like, if 3 Argentina players miss 2 games against Peru and Bolivia, will you consider it "justice served!" and finally give some space for the team that actually won to breathe or keep posting about Messi and Argentina?

It's honestly the first time I've seen people care more about the loser than the winner.

Maybe it's because Madrid didn't have any players on the team, but damn. Who cares.

Although to be fair I'm talking to people that questioned the line of thinking that Spain winning is good FOR THE ACTUAL CITY THE NATIONAL TEAM CELEBRATED IN.

Yeah, I mean. Imagine if we take this "Who Cares" attitude to situations like Prestianni attacking Vini? "Who cares what he said? The game is already over"

Like I said, suspending them from meaningless games is actually not a punishment, so there should be something else. But absolutely, the rule should be enforced.

It's not a matter of "Who cares about the losers?" That's outrageous, actually. It's about not letting football players act like animals.

This was something else, although they went out early that year. I hope to see Argentina play like this again, once the idiots leave the team.

AS posted an opinion piece today which was supposed to be a bit of a hot take, but De la Fuente was hired by Rubiales under massive pressure to sign a big name instead.

It was apparently his choice and he went against everybody else to make it happen. Coaches like Marcelino and Emery expressed interest in the job internally and Rubiales was under massive pressure to Crack and hire one of them. Michel was also floated as a candidate.

These guys have no shame. Are they SO invested in the game that they forget there are cameras everywhere? Are they so eager to cheat?
    This is beyond pathetic.
