Speaking of leaving out, I saw how you sidestepped my point that yellow cards for dissent are always avoidable.

 

Spain made Argentina have their first shot on goal at the 119th minute or something like that. Never seen anything like it in a final. Completely deserved.

Playing against this Spain team as a player must be brutal. You will spend most of the 90mins chasing balls and trying, unsuccessfully, to close down passing lanes. When you finally manage to get the ball, you are almost instantly suffocated.

They severely lack a world class scorer though, that's obvious.

I wasn't sure if you actually thought there were bad calls worthy of cards or just winding people up. My apologies, like I said I think you're a quality poster. And I agree that rigged is too strong a word, rigged doesn't score goals in open play. Argentina are thugs but they found goals all tournament. I just think they had a much longer leash than most every other team.
